Close to Matakana and Omaha Beach, (yet less than an hour from the Auckland Harbour Bridge), Black Fern is perfect for a relaxing holiday, entertaining, small business retreats, and wedding accommodations.

 

With spectacular 360 degree views of the native bush, the valley and vineyards below, the Lodge at Black Fern features a spacious floor plan with four ensuite bedrooms. The fully equipped kitchen is a foodies’ delight! The heated swimming pool is surrounded by landscaped gardens with easy access to the outdoor entertainment centre with its gas BBQ grill, fully equipped kitchen, sitting area and gas fireplace.

 

The spacious master bedroom also has panoramic countryside views, a large HD TV, and the master bath has ‘his and her’ basins, an enclosed shower and a bathtub. All bedrooms have king beds and private access to individual decks.

 

The “Barn” is a separate fully self-contained cottage with its own king size bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living area. It can be rented in addition to the Lodge, (but not on its own) to bring the sleeping capacity up to 10 people. Free wireless high-speed internet is available throughout the property.
